Olympian and contributor to LtW, Julia Bleasdale (you can read her story in issue three of the magazine), is a regular visitor to Ethiopia where she trains and explores the beautiful countryside. On her latest trip to Africa, despite being focused on her preparations for Rio, Julia took some time to make a great little film and we wanted to share it with you.
This is Julia’s introduction to the film:
Back in Ethiopia again to facilitate my regular stint of ‘winter’ altitude training high up in the mountains at around 3000m. We have also decided to explore an area which is new to us and take the opportunity to visit a small building project which aims to bring further much needed development to an outlying area of the renowned Simien Mountains. This video is a snippet of their story.
