We spoke to Rick Arikado, from Vancouver, Canada, whose work was featured in issue #5 of the magazine. He told us about his work and gave us an insight into what fuels him to run.

LTW: Why do you run?
RA: I run for peace and solitude.

LTW: Tell us about your work that we published in Like the Wind
RA: It was a note I wrote to my wife for her birthday.

LTW: What would your ultimate adventure be?
RA: I would love to run the trails of Chile and Patagonia.

LTW: What is your favourite running moment (either yours or historical)?
RA: That would be in 2015 when I finished the Tahoe 200.

LTW: Do you have a favourite running quote?
RA: “I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.” Douglas Adams
