With the launch of Like the Wind USA almost here, we wanted to share a little more context. This new edition brings together the global storytelling that sits at the heart of the magazine, alongside new voices, routes and perspectives from across the United States
Below are answers to some of the most common questions about the launch of Like the Wind USA.
What is Like the Wind USA?
Like the Wind USA is a new edition of Like the Wind, created especially for the running community in the United States. It carries the same heart, craft and storytelling that define the magazine, with the majority of content drawn from our global edition, alongside alongside additional US stories and a special US cover design.
When will the first issue be released?
Like the Wind USA Issue #1 will land at the start of April 2026.
This gives us the space to thoughtfully shape the US edition and bring together global stories with new voices and perspectives from across the United States.
Why am I being switched to USA edition?
We’re launching Like the Wind USA, a new edition created specifically for the US running community. As a U.S.-based subscriber, you’ll now receive stories and artwork that feel closer to home, while staying true to the craft, care and values that define Like the Wind.
Will my subscription price change?
No. As a thank you for supporting Like the Wind before a US edition existed, your current subscription price will remain unchanged until your 2027 renewal.
Do I need to do anything?
Nothing at all. Your subscription will automatically transfer to the USA edition. There’s nothing you need to update or manage.
Will the stories be different?
The tone, craft and emotional storytelling of Like the Wind remain the same. The USA edition brings together the majority of content from our global edition, alongside additional voices and perspectives from across the United States.
Why is the numbering restarting at issue #1?
This marks a new chapter. The USA edition begins its own story with issue #1, while remaining closely connected to the values, design and editorial approach that have shaped Like the Wind from the beginning.
I don’t want my name printed in issue #1. How do I opt out?
If you haven’t clicked the button to have your name printed in issue #1, you will be automatically opted out. If you’re unsure, just get in touch on shop@ltwmedia.com and we’ll be happy to check for you.
Will the magazine still feel like Like the Wind?
Yes. The editorial values, design-led approach and emotional storytelling that define Like the Wind remain unchanged. The magazine will still be crafted by the same team. The USA edition simply brings those elements closer to home for readers in the region.
