We are hugely grateful to the contributors that help us make each edition of the magazine. Without their imagination and generosity LtW wouldn’t exist. Our thanks go out to the writers, but also to the illustrators who create the beautiful images that accompany our stories.

One of those people is the very talented Egle Zvirblyte, whose work we featured in Like the Wind Issue #8 alongside Simon Bagshaw’s story ‘If You Go Down To The Woods Today’. Egle is a Lithuanian illustrator, splitting her time between London and Tokyo. She comes from set design background, with degrees in Film and Spatial Design.

LTW: Why do you run?
EZ: To catch up with my thoughts

LTW: What’s special about your work?
EZ: I take you to my irreverent world of quirky, comical and surreal.

LTW: Tell us about your work that we published in Like the Wind
EZ: I was thinking what it’s like to run with a fear of a bear!

LTW: What would your ultimate adventure be?
EZ: My eye right now is on Patagonia

LTW: What is your favourite running moment (either yours or historical)?
EZ: So far it belongs to my good friend Ruta finishing her first ultra – 50 km Stupa to Stupa trail in Nepal
