We are hugely grateful to the contributors that help us make each edition of the magazine. Without their imagination and generosity LtW wouldn’t exist. Our thanks go out to the writers, but also to the illustrators who create the beautiful images that accompany our stories.

We spoke to Emmie Collinge, a mountain runner, occasional road runner and long-time cycling addict, living in Northern Italy, whose work was featured in issues #2 and #6 of the magazine. She told us about her work and gave us an insight into what fuels her to run.

LTW: Why do you run?
EC: Because I always have.

LTW: What’s special about your work?
EC: Running stories created by runners, shot by runners and told by runners.

LTW: What would your ultimate adventure be?
EC: Running the Kungsleden in Sweden before heading across Finland and into Russia. On foot.

LTW: What is your favourite running moment (either yours or historical)?
EC: Winning the silver medal at the World Mountain Running Championships in 2015.

LTW: Do you have a favourite running quote?
EC: “If you’re not first, you’re last,” said continually by my little brother as we grew up.
