If you want to go fast, go alone; but if you want to go far, go together.
Some people might believe that running is a lonely sport. But they are probably not runners. And we certainly don’t ascribe to that idea at Like the Wind. In fact as far as we are concerned, the exact opposite is true. We believe in a global family of runners. We believe that the simple act of running can create a bond between people of all ages, genders, ethnicities and backgrounds.
Put simply, we believe that running is a team sport.
Which is why we are so thankful for the support of our subscribers and readers. And we’re grateful for the writers, illustrators and photographers. These are the people who make the magazine what it is and for whom we create each issue.
With this issue of LtW we are really pleased to announce a select group of brands who will be part of the Like the Wind journey. We consider these brands to be part of our support team. Their investment in Like the Wind will allow us to keep improving every aspect of the magazine, bringing more and better stories to life on the page.
As always, Like the Wind remains a reader-supported publication. We are not going to fill the pages with adverts. Instead we will focus on a very small number of brands and tell stories with them that we are sure our readers will find insightful, inspiring and entertaining.
