Awareness of the climate crisis – and pressure to take action to address it – has never been higher. As part of the fight to protect our planet, the Blue Earth Summit has been organised for 13 and 14 October in Bristol, UK. This will be an opportunity for businesses and individuals looking for ways to reduce climate change, to come together, listen to insightful and inspiring speakers and indulge in some activities in the outdoors they are trying to protect.

Publishing stories about climate change, pollution and the environment, with a view to inspiring change, has always been part of the Like the Wind mission. So we are delighted to be part of the Blue Earth Summit. In particular, we will be the media partner for two trail runs organised by the team from Maverick Races and supported by BUFF®.

The event is certain to be full of great ideas and positivity, with speakers including including Sir Tim Smit from The Eden Project, Rosie Stancer, a Polar Explorer and Hugo Tagholm, the CEO of Surfers Against Sewage. You can check out the lineup here.

We have a special offer for any Like the Wind readers who would like to go – a discount code for 15% off the ticket price. Simply use the code: LIKETHEWIND15 when you buy a ticket here.
